Connecting HubSpot

Availability

SendSeven for HubSpot is available to workspaces on any SendSeven plan that includes Conversations, Contacts, and Campaigns — in practice, every plan except API Only. Some individual cards (for example the message Scheduler, which needs the Scheduler feature) may also depend on features enabled for your specific plan. If a card isn't showing up, check your plan's feature list under Settings → Billing, or ask us at [email protected].

If you try to connect on an ineligible plan, SendSeven shows an upgrade prompt rather than an error.

Getting early access

SendSeven for HubSpot is currently in early access and not yet listed on the HubSpot Marketplace. To get it enabled for your workspace:

  1. Email [email protected] and let us know you'd like early access to the HubSpot integration.
  2. We'll enable it for your SendSeven workspace and send you an install link for the HubSpot app.

Connecting your accounts

Connecting SendSeven and HubSpot is a two-way handshake — HubSpot needs permission to show SendSeven's cards and call SendSeven's API, and SendSeven needs permission to call back into HubSpot's CRM (to sync contacts, attach transcripts, and so on).

  1. Install SendSeven in HubSpot. Using the install link from support, add the SendSeven app to your HubSpot account.

  2. Review and grant HubSpot permissions. HubSpot shows you the standard OAuth consent screen listing the scopes SendSeven is requesting (see the table below). Click Connect app.

  3. Authorize the reverse direction in SendSeven. Back in SendSeven, go to Settings → Integrations → HubSpot and complete the SendSeven-side authorization, so HubSpot can call SendSeven's API on your behalf. This uses SendSeven's own OAuth2 provider — the same one used by our Zapier, Make.com, and n8n integrations.

  4. Configure sync and mapping. Once both directions are connected, the same Settings → Integrations → HubSpot page lets you set:

    • Which direction contacts sync (HubSpot → SendSeven, SendSeven → HubSpot, both, or off)
    • Field mapping, including your own custom fields (see How sync works)
    • Whether conversation transcripts are attached to HubSpot automatically on close
    • Which HubSpot list(s) are linked as campaign segments (see Campaigns to HubSpot segments)
