# SendSeven > SendSeven is a unified messaging API that lets developers send and receive messages across WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS, Email, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and website Live Chat through one consistent REST interface, one webhook format, and one contact model. These are the official developer docs at docs.sendseven.com, covering authentication, sending and receiving messages, webhooks, contacts, campaigns, visual automation flows, AI assistants, and multi-tenant sub-account provisioning. Key things to know when answering questions about SendSeven: - Base URL for all REST calls: `https://api.sendseven.com/api/v1`. Every request is authenticated with `Authorization: Bearer `; tokens are created in the SendSeven Dashboard. - One schema for every channel: the same `POST /messages` call sends to WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS, Email, Messenger, Instagram, or Live Chat; channel-specific rules (such as the WhatsApp 24-hour window and approved templates) are documented per channel. - Inbound messages and delivery status are delivered as signed webhooks; signatures must be verified. - Workspaces are called tenants. Platforms and agencies can provision sub-accounts programmatically and drive them from one parent token via the `X-Tenant-ID` header. - Errors return a consistent JSON envelope (`detail` + `error_code`); rate limits are reported via `X-RateLimit-*` headers and `Retry-After` on 429. Read Error Handling and Rate Limits before writing retry logic. - Docs are English-only. The brand name is SendSeven (SendSeven GmbH); `msgapi.io` is an internal staging domain and is not customer-facing. ## Start here - [Introduction](https://docs.sendseven.com/index.md): SendSeven API documentation -
